Sorry it's been a long long time since I was last here, crazy last half of the year, wish it was spent out in the forest doing research instead of on the road hunting for work... SMH... The assumed young one was maybe 6 and a half foot tall, like salt and pepper hair all over, more grey then black, and I think it's stripe was maybe shoulder blade width maybe a little wider, which lead up to the more black then grey, salt and pepper color on the cone of the head in a flattened circular like pattern, almost looked like Ringo Star's bowl hair cut back when the Beatles first came over in the 60. It was so fast that we lost sight of it with in seconds, and out in the middle of a thick forest with lots of undergrowth, just gone in like 5 to 10 seconds. Some of those trees out there are SO OLD, you could almost mistake them for prehistoric. A lot of them are, or were, extremely tall and wide. Definitely reminds us that Connecticut WAS once a rain forest. It's been eons since any of us have been back there, all of us are parents and married and living in other towns now. The friend who's property boardered that forest lives in New London now and I am in Middletown and the friend I was with at the time I believe has a better chance of running into one in Essex. Especially now that there is an author who lives out there and is actually now searching his land for them because he's seen them in his flood lights at night and has been woken up at night by a slap on the side of his house. As for the Blond one, yes, very pale colored, pinkish skin tone. His head was like twice the size of my mom's exboyfriend's head. HE, the exboyfriend, Chip, who was 6'3" had an average sized head for a guy that size, no need for a custom made baseball cap you know, this Sasquatch would a specialist tailor to make it a baseball cap, the diameter of it's head was maybe a little under a foot, like maybe an inch or two. Mouth was very wide, at my age and size at the time, I would say he could of fit my entire foot in his mouth probably and I wore like a size 8 then... He maybe able to fit my size 10 foot in his mouth now... Not that I want to try, I can't stand anyone touching my feet, willingly or unwillingly... LOL!!! I would have to say his mouth was proportionate to his head like maybe 4 to 6 inches wide. I don't have a very big head and my mouth is 2 and half to 3 inches wide now, so I assume his should be like twice mine being as big as he was. And every time the family and I went back there to Devil's Hopyard, I prayed to see him again, never have, but have seen some really strange things out there. I have seen weird orbs of lights in the trees, always brushed them off as fireflies or some one's flash lights... But I just recently heard some one giving their account of a sighting, an Marine of the U.S. Military who moved up to Ontario Canada I believe, and he saw one which had two light orbs in front of its chest while it ran parallel with the highway the guy was on. And I had heard this a few other times listening to people's accounts, though you never hear of this on any Sasquatch finding shows... Wonder why that is... I also recently had an uncle tell me the same about his encounter. He was hunting at the time and being sun down he decided to call it a night and started down from his tree mounted deer stand. He said he saw what he thought was the light of his flash light hit a short pine tree, so he stopped about four rungs up from the ground and check his flash light with was strapped to his belt. It was off so he looked up at the pine tree again and there were two orbs of light. He said it wasn't long after that that he noticed the big fella behind the orbs, which was about chest high on the Sasquatch. My uncle said at first sight, fear washed over him, but then something told him to stay calm and he did. The Sasquatch just stood there staring at him as if observing him. Then it turned and vanished amongst all the trees. My uncle didn't decide to bother looking for it, he just headed off to the truck looking back every so often hoping it wasn't following him. I am seriously curious what this light anomaly is with some of the sightings I have heard now.

In my research of the Unknown and Unexplained, I discovered two things of fascination. There are stories from around the early 1800's where a 19yr old girl went missing off a First Nations Reservation, her family and friends hunted for her for weeks with no luck. Then some time later she showed back up pregnant. Her tail was one of the most interesting, she was taken by a young male Sasquatch from the reservation. As the time past she grew attached to him and well one thing led to another and she became pregnant. Well the pregnancy was taking it's toll on her and according to her, there was an argument between the young male and his father. That night the young male brought her home, obviously distraught about it. Her family did all they could to get her through the pregnancy and she carried full term, claiming to have seen Him a few times at her window watching over her. Unfortunately when the day came for her to give birth, it was a still born baby boy covered from head to toe in hair and much bigger than normal babies. It's apparently written about in a book by a journalist to which I have never been able to locate and now can't even remember the name of the book. And to twist the reader's fascination even more, the story of Oliver the Humanzee... There was a Chimp "Orphaned" according to the official story, that was covered in blond hair. No other chimp wanted Oliver around because he was so different. Even the way he would stay upright all the time forced Chimps to treat him like an outsider. He was beaten up one day so bad that the zoo he was at took him out and refused to put him back. So a couple took him in. They said he acted WAY TO HUMAN to be pure chimp, but eventually the husband of the couple died and Oliver started trying to court the wife in the Chimp sort of way. Oliver loved to watch People's Court, Jeopardy and, Wheel of Fortune, as well as smoke and be a not so normal... Human... than a not so normal Chimp. Using the bathroom, going for car rides, and all the other very human things to do. Well he reached the ripe old age of 70 some time in the 80's, outliving all the other chimps that beat him up, even with the harmful things he was doing. According to some documents that randomly surfaced sometime later, the Nazis were experimenting with trying to make a super soldiers hoping for a result like Oliver. Unfortunately NONE of their attempts turned out good. Still births and/or the chimp killing the "mating" partner... The Nazis supposedly gave up all attempts. Then some time after the World Wars, after Project Paperclip had ran it's course. Some Boston doctor decided to try the experiment again. Except this time through a new untested on humans idea. It worked with Cow and Horses when they refused to mate so he tried the artificial way. He found a willing woman and artificially inseminated her with a Chimps Sperm and supposedly it worked resulting in Oliver. That's according to the research I found on Oliver. Whether it's true, I don't know. But it does explain why the U.S. Court System is so bent on prosecuting people who decide to undertake bestiality, with a select few states that won't. Disturbing I know but it's to really solidify that inter-species mating is a possibility as long as there is very close similarities between the species. There is a study being done on Hyenas and Cheetahs right now, because Hyenas share very similar dna with Leopards and Cheetahs share very similar dna with Jackals and scientists think there may just have been some sort of cross breeding with the species eons ago. We have been waiting to hear the results of that research since 2016, at least here on this side of the globe, who knows the report may have came out but the insanity over here may have blocked the results on the news and elsewhere.

I always wondered if that was a she. And I always wondered why her face was white like that. AND to add, SHE IS BEAUTIFUL... I have to say the one I encountered all them years ago was simply handsome.

Hello, I am an avid researcher of ALL things unexplained and denied by the general public. ;) I live in the great useless Constitution or Nutmeg State, Aka Connecticut. I started off my research when I was young, REALLY YOUNG... I was 8yrs old when I had my first ghost encounter in Madison, Ct. I unlike my older brother, was more curious and inquisitive, where he cowered and literally ran me over trying to get away. Through out the years I have seen Ufo's galore as well as moved all over Ct. I had my first Sasquatch encounter in East Haddam, Ct. Wrote about it and a few other times in the Experiences section. ODDLY lived in probably one of the most forested areas of Ct, Killingworth, (between my second and third encounter) and NEVER ONCE SAW or HEARD one for the entire two years there. But no sooner do I move out of there and move to Vermont for about six months, I had experience after experience again but never saw any. Tree breaks, rocks randomly flying through the air to land near me, slaps on the side of the camper trailer hard enough to open the flimsy latched door, things of that nature. Then I came back to Ct, Middletown a city by population but still suburb by definition due to lack of city like structures, expecting it all to stop again like it did after I moved out of Clinton and to Killingworth. Man was I wrong... LOL!!! Then I found out some one is trying to prove they are here in Ct by his Essex cabin. MMMM, Ok it's a bit more wooded then Middletown and a lot closer to Devil's Hopyard where I had my first encounter. I always run into people telling me I am full of S**T about them being in my state, usually people who live in the same state, where vacationers are telling me about their experiences right on the boarder of my state and theirs. I am talking New York, Massachusetts and, Pennsylvania... Haven't heard any from New Jersey, but I find stories of it online there, some in the Pine Barrens and others more near the southern areas of NJ. Oh yeah and Rhode Island has some of the most forests of Ct on it's western boarder and there is stories galore from that area. But anyways I am glad you have set this up for people who want to share their stories here. I am glad there is more and more people coming out to create websites to share these fascinating and sometimes scary stories. Like Howtohunt.com and Thinkerthunker.com to name a few, as well as a few others. I have to say the most offensive thing I have heard was the nay sayers claiming Todd CGI'ed his face into a Sasquatch with that Big Red video he has up, AND LIKEWISE, the best thing I heard was Thinkerthunker using that same footage to try to draw Todd's face over Big Red's... One of the best DEBUNKS of the theory... there is no way it's Todd... LOL!!! If you don't know Thinkerthunker, he does photo and video analysis for a living, Sasquatch footage analysis is his hobby and he like Todd wants the truth out about them. He has some seriously great points about Sasquatch that kill the bogus concept that it's some suicidal fool, in the middle of nowhere, where hunters are most likely going to be, in a gorilla suit. To point out a few of those gorilla suit theories, the way they walk bending the knee at 90 degrees, the length of arm, the width of the entire body, the width of the limbs, things that clearly CAN NOT be a man in a gorilla suit. To put it the way Thinker does, Body Ratios do not match. I am glad I caught this site address in one of Todd's live streams, so I can be apart of the community who KNOW Sasquatch are real.
