Interesting. When did this occur?

Hi mgowin79. What do the vocalizations sound like? Could it possibly be some other sasquatch researcher or researchers out there making calls? That is why I do not do tree knocks or calls (unless maybe if I was way out in a very remote region) because if it is in an area where other people may be around, (there are several quad trails in the vicinity of Muskiki lake and many people camp in that area as well on weekends especially) you could just end up with one or more people responding back, either thinking it may be a sasquatch they heard, or maybe just trying to mess with you. :)

Hi wikkyfolt. It looks like the 'eye shine' is quite low to the ground? What leads you to think it is not just a cat or some wild animals like one or more foxes or deer or one or more stray sheep or whatever that are making those movement noises in the woods sometimes and which cause some eyeshine sometimes? Just curious how you may be ruling that out. I brightened your picture, but it is low resolution, and due to the darkness brightening the image doesn't show any much more detail anyway. :)

Looking at Google Maps, it looks like there is patchy woods through the area, but seemingly not really too overly remote, but that is interesting if they had rocks thrown at them. More indication that you possibly may not have to be in really remote locations to encounter sasquatch.

If something like that occurs close to a place where people are around, then you always have to wonder if a person did it, but the only reason I can think that a person might do that would be for a hoax, or children/teenagers might do it just playing around, I suppose. It sure wasn't create by windfall however. :) Do we know how remote the area is where this was found? (By remote, I mean a place where people are probably not likely ever in the area much).

Hi Jon, I do see a lot of curved down trees like that here in Western Alberta just when driving along forestry access roads. It occurs a lot just along the edge of the woods along the roads, very similar to what you show. I also see it when I walk into the woods away from roads as well. Because it seems to be so common, I think it is probably naturally caused for the most part. Once a tree is curved right down to the ground like that, it could have deadfall trees and branches fall across it. I see so many like that which are still completely alive. Because of all this being quite common to find, it is hard for me to try to draw conclusions about any of it being related to sasquatch. I find tree structures are very hard to assess in regards to possible sasquatch activity for these sort of reasons. What exactly causes trees to curve right down to the ground like that I really don't know.

Larger thickness tree trunks are very heavy and can easily cause the trunk to twist like that when a tree trunk breaks and it is falling down. So, a likely force of nature at play there is gravity. If a tree has a weak spot in its trunk, that is likely where it is going to break due to wind or just due to normal stresses if the tree is say leaning a bit. That is why it is so hard to say if something like this is definitely done by a sasquatch or just due to natural causes. I see all sorts of interesting tree breaks out in the woods, but I just can't say for sure if sasquatch had anything to do with it. Maybe with a lot more experience I will be able to make better distinctions.

I tried, but brightening the video is the same as for the previous. There is just too much digital noise (pixelation) due to it being too dark to pick up any details. Also the wind noise is just too loud to make out any movement noises coming from the woods.

Yes, not sure any sounds of movement in the woods can be heard over the wind noise, but I will listen more closely later when I get a chance and maybe try brightening the video as well. Did you hear any other types of unusual sounds besides sounds of movement?

Do you hear noises out there in the woods by your property fairly often in the evenings, or is it just an occasional occurrence? P.S. @wikkyfolt100 If the activity in the woods right by your place is something that happens fairly often in the evenings, I have a night vision camera as well as a trail cam and a portable audio recorder. If you are interested, maybe I could swing by there on a weekend sometime and try to capture something on video or audio in the evening there. If you are interested in trying something like that to see what we might capture on night vision video or audio, just let me know here and I will send you my email address. The thing is, sasquatch seem to be quite smart from what I can gather, so the moment someone sets up a night vision camera and a trail cam and that sort of thing, they may possibly stay further back deeper in the woods. :)

@wikkyfolt100 Ok, yes, I can see some views of the woods there in that Scale Logging video (cool!) over where the surveyor's tape is, but I am not sure which area is the same area where that tree structure is now. That's interesting that it wasn't there a few years ago. Let us know if you have any further interesting things happen around there! Do you hear those noises in the bush by your property pretty much every night? I have processed your night encounter video to brighten the video and to amplify the volume of the background audio. I have posted this as an unlisted video on my channel. (If you want me to take the video down, just let me know). I think the brightened video is too pixelated in much of the video to be able to make out anything like eyes or whatever else. You can hear some animal calls like sheep and dog barks in the amplified background audio, and there seems to possibly be a slight growl or bark at the beginning of the video around 00:13 and 00:17. At around 00:59 - 01:02 in the video, there seems to be some sort of higher pitched animal call way in the distance and a dog starts barking right after that sound. Hi wikkyfolt100. Ok, I guess maybe you mean the tree structure at around 30:45 in your second video? I would define a tree structure as an unusual arrangement of trees and deadfall and branches which might be formed naturally or formed by people, or which might possibly be modified or made entirely by a sasquatch. See the attached screenshot from your second video at 30:45. Is that the tree structure you were referring to? Have you had any further interesting things occur since you made those two videos?

That's really interesting. Do you have a picture of the hut that you said you found? Let us know if anything new happens!

Starting at around 0:52, it sounds to me a lot like some kind of bird was disturbed and took off flying.

It is an interesting video. Some interesting points in there to ponder. It seems Nathan Reo has lost interest and moved on now, and he says he has other priorities now, and is not interested in pursuing the bigfoot research thing any further at the current time, according to a video on his channel. I have an open mind about Sasquatch since there seems to have been quite a few sighting and encounter reports over the years, but I am maintaining healthy skepticism at this point about 'tree structures' and related being so readily linked to Sasquatch activity by some, when in many cases at least it seems to me the structures are more likely to be naturally formed with various possible natural causes, or even formed by human intervention in some cases. Also, I do know that in certain types of soil where a track is not really clear, a bear track can potentially look a lot like a bare foot hominid shaped track complete with toe impressions, so I have some reservations about jumping to any conclusions about various aspects of this sort of stuff. I don't claim to have any idea what sasquatch may really be at this point, assuming they really do exist, as I have had no direct experiences with Sasquatch, but I try to keep an open mind about the different ideas and views out there. I still intend to try to get out to wilderness areas when I can to research further for myself, but as always life puts many demands on our time and can pull us in different directions than what we may prefer at any point along the way. I am currently still planning some more research investigations this Summer and Fall where I can find time, so I'll try to keep Nathan's ideas in mind as I do so and see if anything interesting surfaces. :)

Hi Amanda. I was using large and small in a relative sense. :-) What I was interpreting as a smaller person is really just too blurry to be sure what it is, but what I am interpreting as a larger person does appear to be wearing clothes and mitts to me. I may well be interpreting what is in that blurry picture incorrectly however. :-) The picture as it is there is just too blurry to draw any definite conclusions from though I think. If the picture has a lot of processing on it, it may be altering how the picture looks unprocessed.
