Jonathan, Congratulations on your 1st expedition....so much interaction! I think you were smart to leave the camera home, especially on your 1st trip. I'm not a "field" researcher....I'm a "info" researcher. My advice would be to- State your intentions with them in your words "verbally" and "mentally" with your thoughts. Convey-You mean them no harm and that you respect them. You want to be friends and learn from them. It may help. You may have placed your camp too close to their family group. Leaving was the correct move....especially with rocks raining down near you. However, I wonder if moving your camp farther away, may have satisfied them? It's a judgement call. Their offspring would have been raised by Bigfoot families. This raises some unsettling questions: Were the women forced to live in Sasquatch families? Did they give their babies up willingly? Did these women return to their Native tribes? Were rogue Bigfoot males involved in the abductions? The examples also address your fear of seeing one. It seems Sasquatch is aware of our apprehensions. In some cases, Sasquatch mindspeaks...."Don't be frightened". A very good read. The Sasquatch Ontario Question??? I think it’s important to tell everyone who questions Mike Paterson or Sasquatch Ontario that, in my opinion, these videos are fake. Dwayne, the cottage owner where Mike Paterson camps, (in his back yard) made several YouTube videos. He claims he hoaxed Mike all along. Dwayne plays in a rock band and owns lots of electronics like speakers and distortion equipment. He claims he was amplifying his distorted voice out of a side bedroom window. Mike never walked up to check for the sound’s source. Had he done so, Dwayne could simply have stopped. It’s true they had a falling out and Mike Paterson might be gullible and not realize he was getting duped. Mike had a “Go Fund Me” page and collected, I believe, $2,000 for bigfoot research. He supposedly used the money for a Hawaiian vacation. He may have attended one bigfoot seminar while there. However, it seems suspicious since most of the cash went towards vacation and not research. Mike Paterson continues with his YouTube channel and refuses to believe that he was scammed. Mike claims Dwayne made it up because they were feuding. Mr. Paterson has a vested interest in keeping his YouTube channel going. It’s a source of income for him. Moreover, for a time, someone Google Earthed the cottage area. It is a circle road with many cottages and a lake in the middle. A major highway is nearby. It is not a wilderness area, It’s more like a wooded suburb. Dwayne, the cottage owner, confessed to making the footprints and strange photos. His YouTube videos have since come down. I DID view them, and I have no reason to deceive anyone. I personally lost a good amount of time listening to those videos. It’s so disheartening to spend time and effort, only to discover: IT’S ALL FAKE!!! It hurts the honest researchers who are genuinely looking for the evidence and answers with Sasquatch. It sets the discovery back not forward. Fake News Clouds the Truth. These people and others crossed the Bering long ago to settle in America. Both Sasquatch and the First Nations People use the "teepee" structure for different reasons. It's certainly a portable dwelling that has stood the test of time.

A Case for Meganthropus When Grover Krantz in 1992— theorized that Gigantopithecus was Bigfoot, certain characteristics did not seem to fit. Bigfoot, for example, is bi pedal and the consensus is that Giganto' was an orangutan-like quadruped. Krantz also contends that the angle of the jawbone, positioned the neck in such a way that Giganto’ walked upright as a human does. His point, however, is moot in that DNA proves: Bigfoot is a hybrid human. He likely walks upright for the same reasons we do. But why Giganto’? Because at the time, archaeologists had but one large Asian primate. We now know, too, that Bigfoot most likely has tapetum lucidum (eye shine) while apes do not have this feature. No human or large primate has eye shine. Small tree-dwelling primates such as lemurs and lorises have this night vision. What about Meganthropus? We know very little about this ancient primate from Java. He was large and fits that criteria (7-9 ft.). Perhaps Meganthropus had eye shine? Some archaeologists believe that Meganthropus is Homo Erectus (Java Man). He may be primate or hominid. There is one certainty: we are dealing with very limited discoveries. Is there a missing ancient primate yet undiscovered? Or is Meganthropus and not Giganto' the primary ancestor of Bigfoot? Meganthropus seems to best fit as the ancestor of Bigfoot. On the other hand, it may prove to be a future primate discovery. DNA will ultimately prove the primate side of Bigfoot. I for one believe that Sasquatch will be shown to be an ancient human man with some distant primate, but more human. Todd Standing has expressed his belief that Bigfoot is part Giganto’. Tapetum lucidum or eye shine is extremely important in the DNA of Sasquatch. It's the reason why I end the article with "new finds are continuously being made." I'm not sold on Giganto' being the primate half too. The primates (lemurs and bush babies) are much too small to fit the bill. It may be a evolutionary process of acquiring eye shine (night vision) or........a yet to be discovered colder weather, large primate.

If you look at the shape of an elephant's foot: it flairs outward and the bottoms are flat. It reminds me of nature's form of stethoscope. We are beginning to understand how complex and intelligent elephants truly are: especially the females. They are responsible for teaching and protecting the young as well as remembering where distant water and food sources can be found. The males contribute much less and "pal around" together.

As I listen, my first feeling was of a creature hurt and in lots of pain, a desperate cry for help. I envision a leg caught in a bear trap or a severely broken limb. A creature clearly in severe distress and calling for help and assistance from family members. If words could be placed to this sound, it would say: I'm hurt! I'm in lots of pain! Please hurry! This article gets to the heart of the Sasquatch question: kill Bigfoot or not kill Bigfoot? Killing the father or mother, sister or brother of a Bigfoot family is morally wrong! It's their home. If this is REALLY what science requires, I say: let Sasquatch stay hidden and undiscovered.

Sasquatch must use rocks as tools. What else does he have? Todd Standing talks of crude wooden sticks used as spears for fishing. How does Sasquatch crack open nuts? Or dam up a creek to make fishing easier? Todd claims Sasquatch's aim is deadly accurate throwing stones. Birds, squirrels, and maybe fish might be an easy meal with a well placed rock.
